Animals Lives Matter of East Texas is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization located in Livingston, Texas that provides shelter, care, and medical attention to animals in need solely by donations and support of volunteers.

We are not a typical rescue or shelter, but a holding pen for Polk county. Our dogs are the “leftovers” whose time is up at shelters, dumped in the streets, injured, or ill. Our organization works quickly to get our animals placed with a foster or rescue because time is something we do not have.

Because of our generous donors and volunteers, we have been able to save over 100 lives including critical surgeries, intense medical care, and safe places for healing.
